1. What Shifa Rewards is

Shifa Rewards is a Canadian platform that verifies professional status and provides access to curated third-party rewards. We are not the merchant. Each discount is offered by the partner named on the deal, subject to that partner's own terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold an eligible, current registration or licence in Canada to become Shifa Verified. Students may be eligible for specific programs where a partner offers them; where student status is required, we will say so on the reward.

3. Accounts and verification

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including your legal name, profession, registration / licence number, and regulatory or professional body.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• We verify professional status to determine eligibility for Shifa Rewards Rewards. Review is manual, against the applicable public registry; it is not automatic. If we cannot verify you, we may request more information or decline verification. Shifa Rewards is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any regulator or professional body.
• Verification may expire and be re-checked periodically. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination and may be reported to the relevant regulator or partner.

4. Using discounts

• Private discount codes and redemption instructions unlocked through Shifa Rewards are personal to you. Do not share, resell, publish, screenshot, or otherwise redistribute them.
• You must follow each partner's own eligibility rules, terms, and usage limits (for example, one-time use, in-store only, valid on-shift, membership required, etc.).
• Discounts can change or end at any time. We display the best information we have, but the partner's terms at the point of purchase always control.
• Abuse — such as sharing codes, mass redemption, or misrepresenting your eligibility — may result in immediate suspension of your account and loss of access to future discounts.

5. Content you submit

You may submit deal suggestions or feedback. By doing so, you grant Shifa Rewards a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, use, and (where appropriate) publish that content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform. You represent that your submission does not violate anyone else's rights.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use Shifa Rewards for anything unlawful, deceptive, or that harms members, partners, or the platform.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
• Do not attempt to impersonate another professional, or to obtain access to discounts you are not eligible for.

7. Third-party partners and websites

Shifa Rewards links to third-party merchants. We are not responsible for their products, pricing, availability, or the terms of any purchase you make with them. Your dealings with a partner are solely between you and that partner.

8. Fees

Shifa Rewards is free for verified registered healthcare professionals. We do not charge you and we do not process any payment for you on this platform.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it under PIPEDA. By using Shifa Rewards you acknowledge that policy.

10. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide false verification information, abuse discount codes, or attempt to harm the platform or its users. On termination, your right to access discounts ends immediately.

11. Disclaimers

Shifa Rewards is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that any particular discount will be available, honoured, or suitable for you. Nothing on Shifa Rewards is clinical, legal, tax, or financial advice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Shifa Rewards Rewards and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any transaction with a partner. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months — which, for a free service, is zero.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Ontario, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your province provides otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced to signed-in users before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
